about

This song brought me back to music after a long time, it tries to create a melancholic vibe while watching the sea, it is comforting, but also combinded with so many hopes that things will get better. It is a lament.

lyrics

The lanterns are turned on now
The visitors are gone
The boats are in the harbour now
The child returns home

Whatever dark thought echoes in your heart
Whatever weary sigh burdens your smile
It is the evensong
It is the rebound to breath
With the view at the sea

The noise falls silent slowly
And shop's doors finally close
Beach empties out by and by
A calming twilight grows

Whatever dark thought echoes in your heart
Whatever weary sigh burdens your smile
It is the evensong
It is the rebound to breath
With the view at the sea

And even though the suffering
And pain still lingers on
The sorrow can't be wiped away
So you have to carry on

One day

Whatever dark thought echoes in your heart
Whatever weary sigh burdens your smile
It is the evensong
It is the rebound to breath
With the view at the sea
